    Gerald Ford

I’m looking at a used Journey as a cheap family runaround and the seller seems decent, but I keep going back and forth on whether paying for a check is worth it on a car at this price point. Part of me thinks I should just trust the test drive and the service history, but I’ve been burned before by a gearbox that seemed fine until a month later. A colleague told me to click here to see what’s actually covered before I decide, and I’ll admit the list is longer than I expected. But I’d rather hear from someone who’s done this on a cheaper Dodge. Did the report actually catch anything meaningful or did it just confirm the obvious? I don’t want to waste money on a formality, but I also don’t want to be naive about it.
