We’re moving our operation into a larger unit in Sharjah Industrial Area and I’ve been told to sort out new crates while everything’s in transit anyway. The trouble is I don’t really know what we should be buying. Some of our stock is heavy, some is fragile, and a chunk of it sits outside for days before it goes out on the trucks. I found some crate types explained for Sharjah businesses while searching around, but it was pretty general and didn’t really help me decide between vented, solid, or the reinforced ones. Has anyone here gone through a warehouse move and worked out which crates actually earned their keep? And did you buy one type for everything or split it up based on what was going in them? I’d rather spend a bit more now than end up with a mixed pile of broken ones in a year.
